We want to get better at communicating with our patients and service users. We want to ensure that all patients with disabilities, impairments or sensory loss are supported in their information an communication needs.
We are very willing to help any patient that has any problems with accessing our services, please ask a receptionist. The practice is wheelchair accessible and patients who are deaf or hard of hearing can use the text message system to book appointments. Sign language interpreters can also be provided given reasonable notice.
The following facilities are available:
- Parking – Street parking is available in Bull Street, but please be courteous to residents.
- Toilets for wheelchair users – There are wheelchair accessible patient toilets, one near the GP patient waiting area, and one near the Community Health patient waiting area.
- Access for Wheelchair users – There is ramp access for wheelchairs to the GP Reception and waiting area and the whole building is on one level.
Any patient can request an interpreter if their first language is not English. This service should be requested when the appointment is booked.
